- Secure Check-in & Check-out procedures.
- Direct liaison with local authorities for emergencies.
Health & Hygiene
We maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment through continuous sanitization of toys and surfaces.
Children are taught proper handwashing, waste disposal, and cleanliness habits every day.
In addition, we maintain a signed MOU with a top-tier healthcare facility and have medical support on standby to respond promptly to any health emergencies.
Fire Safety
We uphold stringent fire safety measures through quarterly fire drills, easily accessible fire extinguishers, and strong relationships with local emergency services.
Little Luminaries' Staff
Our team of dedicated and compassionate educators is the heart of HIC’s Little Luminaries. Each staff member is:
- Professionally qualified and passionate about early childhood education.
- Trained in First Aid and CPR to ensure safety at all times.
- Dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

THE LADYBUG CLASS
(Infants 9 months – 24 months)
Our Ladybug program offers a home-away-from-home experience for your little one.
In a safe, cozy, and nurturing environment, our caregivers build trusting relationships that support your child’s emotional and physical development while helping them transition smoothly from home to school.
Activities & Exploration
Our Ladybug class includes engaging daily routines such as:
- Music & Movement / Story Time: Songs, rhymes, books, and finger play for language and rhythm.
- Art & Sensory Play: Colouring, painting, and tactile exploration.
- Gross and Fine Motor Activities: Stacking blocks, creative play, and motor skill development.
- Self-Help Skills: Encouraging small steps toward independence.
- Free Play & Exploration: Guided choice time for creativity, language, and social growth.

BUMBLE BEE & HONEY BEE CLASSES
(Ages 3–4 years and 5–6 years+)
These programs provide a balanced early-learning experience designed to build the foundation for future academic and social success.
Through exploration, creativity, and collaboration, our Bumble Bees and Honey Bees gain confidence, independence, and a deep sense of curiosity about the world around them.
Program Hours:
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Snack and Lunch included)
Extended care is available before and after hours for a nominal fee.
Eligibility:
- Bumble Bees: Ages 3–4 (by September 1)
- Honey Bees: Ages 5–6 and above (by September 1)

NUTRITION
Healthy minds begin with healthy meals!
We encourage parents to provide nutrient-rich breakfasts and lunches, while the centre provides two healthy snacks—one mid-morning and one afternoon.
All snacks meet Food Safety Standards and support balanced nutrition for growing minds and bodies.
We recognize that every child’s dietary needs are unique—please inform us of any food allergies or restrictions so we can make appropriate accommodations.
