On the 26th of July, HIC embarked on a mission to donate text books at the Saint Sylvester Bilingual Primary and Secondary school Muea.
Quality education is an important factor that promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, technology and largely development, through Her Innovation Cameroons effort to advocate for quality education as per SDG 4 of the global goals, we initiated a back to school campaign, aim at donating books to different schools within the Buea municipality.
Saint Sylvester Bilingual College (SASYBICOL) is a lay private school located at Mount Camel Junction Muea-Buea, South West Cameroon funded in 2018, as an outgrowth from its primary section instituted in 2004. SASYBICOL has stood the test of time, delivering commendable education even in the midst of crisis in the area. This secondary school operates General and Technical (commercial and industrial)
The purpose of this excise is to promote and develop the spirit of research in children at an early age, encourage the habit of reading and to promote STEAM education, which covers all fields of life.
HIC’s commitment to bridging the gap of gender inequality in the field of education, advocating for equal rights and access of both girls and boys to quality education is one of the thematic on which the organization focuses on. In other to realize this goal, we are establishing partnerships with other organizations and institutions creating a synergy and working together towards addressing the gender disparities regarding access to quality education by vulnerable children and those affected by the arm conflict in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of the Cameroon.
